LOL.. I love you right wingers.. you are right.. in red states that the governor refused to accept expanded medicare and comply with the ACA.. rates will go up... not because of the law, but because of that selfish, idiotic governor.... If you live in a state that is actually actively taking part in the ACA... your rates will indeed drop on average 20-50% based on what you are currently paying. Within 5 years, when these idiotic governors are either voted out or cave to reality... those rates will drop even further. These are not "talking points" this is reality outside of the tea party bubble.
To simplify it for ya.... the more people who are paying insurance the less it will cost for all.

This is the math that no one opposed to the ACA wants to comprehend. This is how ALL insurance works. People can go on endlessly about this person or that person and their anecdotal stories of woe. Drill down into each of their situations and you will find that it's not actually what they try to make it appear to be.

What the left fails to comprehend is will there actually be more people paying for insurance? I guess if you count the tax payers footing the bill then maybe. Secondly there are a whole bunch of blue states with the rates rising. Heck, DC was 24% I believe. But the looney left will probably be right in the end. The private policies will be going through the roof so substandard Obamacare will be cheaper at some point.

Private policies, if you could get one, have been going "through the roof" for years have they not?

Mine, until next year is still cheaper then the lowest Obamacare policy. Especially with the deductibles ect. The problem I have with your mindset is we could have addressed issues with the current system. But instead, we need the gov't to take over another private sector. Hmm, healthcare, auto industry, housing.....I think this has happened before.

So you have been on the website and given all your personal info in order to get quotes? That sounds strange coming from you. Are you taking into account the tax subsidies?
Yeah, it did happen before. It's called Social security and Medicare.

I am personally appalled that we still have a system that allows one person to profit off the health of another... however please do explain how there is a "private sector" answer to having people with pre existing conditions getting covered.....
