but press pass said the auto is real he signed it in 1998
i just sent the same two scans to beckett
they are goin to get back to me in 10 mins

This card is from the Retrospective cards we produced in 1998. The autograph is his actual signature but the card is a reprint of the actual card Dale Sr. signed. It states this on the back of the card.

Exactly. The card is a REPRINT of the card Dale Sr actually signed in 1998. I don't understand why this is so difficult to understand. The Retrospective set is from 2003, two years after Dale Sr. died. Look at your own scan, and look at the Wheels High Gear trademark on the bottom right corner. It says 2003.

If you can't understand it, then I can't help you. This isn't difficult to grasp. The card you paid $50 for is not signed by Dale Sr. No one would sell an ACTUAL Dale Sr. certified autographed card for $50.

1st off, my apologies if all the questions have been answered. But if not, here goes nothing.
The card was a reprint in 2003 from the original card that was signed back in 1998. On the back of you card is a scan of what the earlier version looks like and if you had that card, then it would have cost more than $50.00. Dale Sr (rip) passed on in 2001 and this card can no way be signed 2 years AFTER his death. Beckett and Press Pass know clearly that this is a reprint and everything I read states the obvious. Sorry you took a hit on it. Next time, do a little more research before buying so you don't get burned.
