A Canadian Republican named Cruz shut down your government!
How is that not a sign of the end of days?

Much like other Canadian born twaughts that we have sent you with no volume switch in which to turn them off, you seem to like our trash …
Celine Dionne, Bryan Adams, Allanis Morrisette, Sarah McLachlan, Nickelback, Alex Trebek, Justin Bieber among many, so you can keep Cruz.

I was thinking about this and there is really very little restricting healthcare companies from aggressively increasing the premiums they charge. After all, the law requires ALL people to buy their product. I believe the exchanges do have a cap on the premiums, but I am not sure how that is determined. I haven't been able to get in to view plans myself, but from what I have read, it seems like some plans are decreasing the cost side for the insurance companies by not offering out of network coverage (don't get injured on vacation!), increasing co-pays, etc.

Anyone with a brain knew that this was a perfect opportunity for Health Insurance companies to:
1. Have a new client base of at least 75 Million
2. Slice existing programs to tenured customers
3. Continue to offer existing programs to tenured customers, but at over double the price
4. Offer introductory pricing to new customers at a much higher rate than old customers (the reason why #3 had to be doubled)
5. Put restrictions on Deductible, so that no customer, new or old can afford any kind of expensive surgery
6. Make Co-Payments so high that people paying monthly rates at 2X and 3X the premium price will still not use a Doctor because they cannot afford the Co-Payment.
This about sums up the legal Shylocking that is taking place, to at least 200 million Americans, if not more.
