Two more returns to share today, one from yesterday and one from today. Both from recent mailings, both awfully quick...

Thad Matta, c/o Home, 4 days
Dave Laroche, c/o Home, 12 days

Pretty pumped to get tOSU Basketball Coach Thad Matta for my collection! Goes great with my recent John Cooper return; just need Urban Meyer now. Bubbled a little since the card was glossier than I thought, but still excited to get it back and looks nice. Happy to have Laroche, too...goes well with all my IP success with his son Andy! If anyone has an Adam Laroche autograph they'd like to move, let me know so I can complete the family.

Thanks, Scott! Thrilled to get it back...completely forgot about it until I was clearing some old messages out and saw it; I owe you one.

Got what should've been one of my favorite returns ever today, but a certain Hall of Fame POS managed to ruin it for me. At a local flea market a few weeks back, I found an old Sports Illustrated commemorating Gaylord Perry's 300th win. Cost to me ended up being one whole dollar. I've been wanting to add Perry to my collection for a long time and thought I'd finally found something cool enough to spend the fee on. Being eighteen, I don't like to pay for many autographs, especially TTM, so this was going to be a special one. Mailed the magazine out last week along with a $15 check.

Saw my giant bubble mailer in the mail today and was pretty excited...I knew what it was and was definitely looking forward to it. Tore open the envelope and...the only visible part of his autograph (in person at least, scan looks a helluva lot better than it does in person) was about the "Ga-" in his first name. He signed in the worst possible location and it looks AWFUL. It actually looks decent in the scan, but you can barely see it in person...absolutely awful.

I wouldn't care if it was free, but I did spend hard-earned money on it, and he seemingly took the time to make sure it looked awful. Almost threw it away because, honestly, I don't want it. Looks AWFUL and I'm too ticked off about it to even want it.

Well, haven't posted in this thread in awhile...had some returns that are already stored away that I never scanned (Al Toon, Doug Harvey, Dirk Nowtizki, which is the third awful success I've had from him, and maybe another one or two), but hopefully that'll change! Four returns from this week that I wanted to share...

First off, Josh Hamilton! My second return from Hamilton (2010 was the first) came in this week with his typical Christmas signing of the fan mail. Sent in October, turned out pretty well!

And these three came in today (Cameron was yesterday)...

    Mike Cameron c/o Home
    Earl Morrall c/o Home
    Bill Stanfill c/o Home

All returns turned out well, aside from the dead Sharpie on Cameron's card. Perhaps I can get a few requests out over Christmas break!

Nice returns Andy! I will definitely be sending to Hamilton next fall.

I'm going to send a few TTMs again soon, mostly to spring training. I might try the HOF ball idea I told you about a few months ago too.

Not sure if you saw, but Drew Stubbs was added to TribeFest.

Considering getting back into the TTM game...haven't sent anything out in a solid year and still won't be doing any in-person stuff for another couple months, kinda hitting autograph withdrawal. Open to suggestions on who to send to from any of you; have some stuff to give away, too, for a little help.

Time to jump back on that horse. There's still a bunch of sigs to round up - lol!

Glad to see you back around. TTM is one of those things none of us truly quit. We're like pro wrestlers. We'll say we're done but deep down we're all Ric Flair haha
