Other guy literally wants just a couple football cards I have worth maybe $25 if that. He only collect football. Person I am dealing with on FB said he bought them off a guy at work who needed $. Well there is an Yzerman RC in there plus a few other rookies, plus what might be a bunch of junk base-score, upper deck type stuff. I have a couple of photos to share. But I'm somewhat weary of these. Upon asking one person they say it looks off in terms of centering. Now I won't send my end til I look them over closely but even then I don't know where to turn to find out a definite answer.
Maybe someone can help here? Should I make the deal or just back out now.

all I will say is if it seems to good to be true than it probably is, heard too many stories about people making deals on FB and it not working out and then you have no recourse, now if the football cards don't really mean much to you maybe its worth taking the chance

He tells me I can look them over and if any issues then send back. I won't be sending my end til I review what I get. It's just one of those things, it's a cool deal for a small amount I'm giving up, just cause he needs to get rid of them. And I want to believe it's only cause he just collects football and not hockey. We shall see. If they turn out to be duds. I will ship them back the cheapest way possible so as to save myself from losing much on it.

Why send them back at all if they are duds? What is he gonna do, report that you stole his counterfeit cards? Just saying

I would do it. If it was me in this situation I would do the deal. If you don't collect football then its not even a question in my mind. Good Luck

It looks like theres $25 of cards there. Nothing looks fishy at all. Nice pick up.

It looks like a pretty good trade, but I don't think there is anything fishy about it. There isn't a single card in that group that's worth making a fake of.
The Yzerman Topps RC is the best of the bunch - and I can go to eBay right now and buy one for $12.74 + shipping (I just looked).

$12.74 for a Mint Yzerman Topps RC is a good price. They have been holding consistently between $14.50 and $20.00 for the past 3 years.
