    I've never understood why Russian players choose to taunt the opponent after scoring an empty-netter. Good on the US player who lifted his stick and clipped him in the mouth.

    Really makes me hope Russia absolutely chokes in the Olympics, like not even making the quarterfinals choking haha

    Yakupov is an example of how young Russians act like Bell-ends. Somebody in the NHL is going to knock his teeth out during one of his incredulously stupid goal celebrations, and frankly, I cannot wait to see it happen.

    Then something happens to them in about season 3 or 4, and 75% of them start acting like Alex Kovalev and only showing up to the rink every 4th game. Lol.

    Unless Russians show up every game like Malkin, Ovy and Datsyuk, then they needn't waste their time, just go to the KHL and stay there.
