Not Happy with my Redemption Replacement
Hello
Back in September I purchased a redemption card of Price/Subban Scripted Swatches from 11-12 Cup for 125$ CAD. I asked Upper Deck in December if they were going to produce the card, and they weren't sure. So I asked them to replace the card. And today I got the replacements, and let me tell you im not happy. I got a Price/Mason dual Enshrinements auto from The Cup, and a Kadri/Subban/Cowen SOTT from 10-11 SPA. I believe this is not fair value. I would really appreciate other people's opinion, and if im right or wrong and what I should do. Thx

No, that's not a good replacement. I would be pretty angry!

Honestly, I'd say that's pretty fair. It appears they did the best they could, given the situation. They gave you a card that has Price, a card that has Subban, and if you were to sell the two cards, you'd most likely be able to recoup that $125, if not get a little more. Obviously it's not the perfect replacement, but I don't think you've been wronged in any way.

I woudn't be happy either. Not too sure what's up with Subban and UD but he hasn't been signing anything in a while. (got 11-12 cup stuff still pending). I would be interested in the triple if you want to get rid of it

Same here - still waiting for him to sign his Trilogy Signature Pucks myself.

I wouldn't be too happy with it myself. I'm assuming that you're a Habs fan and bought the card because it has two very popular Canadiens on it - so to get a replacement with the (current) Philadelphia goalie on one card and a Maple Leaf and a Senator on the other...yuck. At least there's no Bruins there. But this is the chance you take with a redemption replacement unfortunately.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Thats a tricky one. The replacements are a tad underwhelming. What do you figure is the dollar disparity?
I get UD's side. Upper Deck can't be overly (and predictably) generous in replacements, because the scammers would eat them up, but my feeling is, about the Cup-- its THE product. The premium. If an inequality has to made on that product, it should fall in favor of the customer.

Agreed. You spend that kind of money, you should get something comparable. We're not talking about series 1 or some low end set, this is an expensive product and the replacement should also be expensive.
