Never say never but I think I might be giving the WWE "Creative writing team" A BIT TOO MUCH credit here if they wrote all this up.

CM Punk leaving the WWE was not a story line the last time. However, WWE was able to lure him back. Considering the fact that he is my favorite wrestler I hope he can find a reason to stay, or WWE can find a reason to want him to stay. But, I doubt it... Who am I going to collect now?

I tried reading all of the dirt sheets but for right now it is all speculation until the WWE announce something differently.

If it does come out that the reason he quit is because Batista won the Royal Rumble instead of someone else who worked their butt off for the entire year I can see that. My feel is the only reason Batista won the Royal Rumble because of him starring in the upcoming Marvel film in the summer.

We could possibly seeing him return at the Elimination Chamber PPV and take out Antonio Cesaro for his spot just like Edge did with Kofi Kingston a few years back and win the title.

If CM Punk is leaving the WWE, and he does return... It will only be for a title. As a CM Punk fan more than a WWE fan it sickens me to see current super stars passed over for returning retirees who blow up like rookies. It is one thing to have the franchise heel repeatedly overcome the franchise face, but it is completely different to stick the fan favorite behind the curtain.

Found this and thought I should pass it along.

ESPN Cleveland reporter Casey Kulas reports that he heard from sources at Monday’s RAW in Cleveland that there was a heated backstage exchange between WWE officials and CM Punk.
He wrote:

“My info on CM Punk: I do know from sources that at #Raw in CLE there was heated exchange backstage between Punk & staff. Topic – concussion.”
“Punk was heard arguing with staff saying “I passed all your (expletive) concussion test” and “I’m not going out and telling fans that (expletive)”"

Found this tid bit on the Punk incident
