TTM Fantasy League
Hey guys,
I'm putting together a TTM Fantasy League.
How it works...
-I'll make a fantasy baseball team for anyone interested in playing.
-Your team will be made up of players you get TTM successes from. When you get a success from a player, they will be added to your team.
-Season long contest with the highest scoring team at the end of the year getting an autographed prize.
Let me know if you have interest. I'll post official rules if there are collectors who want in.

Sounds like a fun way to ttm compete. I'm down...How would we verify that someone really got the item they claim though?

also would it be just current players or could we go to retired players?

I've run a lot of TTM style contests in the past. What I usually require is that you take a picture of the stamped, addressed request letter to the player with the cards (or other item) you're sending to the player visible and then a picture of the item returned signed on top of your postmarked SASE. It's not foolproof, but it's the best proof I can come up with.
So, something like this, on the day you send the request

And then a second picture of the signed card on top of your SASE (you can blur out/cover up the address) when you receive it back.

Only current players, as the fantasy portion wouldn't work for retired players.

RULES:
1. You must post a picture of the stamped request letter and the item you are sending to be signed.
This looks like this:
(See above)
I would prefer you post these photos when you send the request, but I don't mind if you wait until you get it back.
2. You must post a picture of the signed item when you receive it back. If you don't follow one and two, you will not receive credit for the success.
3. After 1 and 2 have been completed, I will add the player to your fantasy team as quickly as I can.
4. I'm still trying to figure out how to make all these teams, many having the same players. I might need to set up separate leagues for each team. Because of this, I may not be able to give direct control of the team to each member. If that's the case, simply PM me to make a roster change and I will take care of it.
5. I will not make petty lineup changes (i.e. swapping out a player who doesn't hit lefthanded pitchers well when he's facing a southpaw or something like that). However, if a player gets injured, you receive a success from a better player, or other major circumstances come up, I will gladly chance your roster around. I'll just be busy with baseball and college and won't be able to make multiple lineup changes for everyone every day.
6. This contest will be season long, starting immediately.
7. Only successes posted in this thread will be counted.
8. The fantasy league will be ESPN standard. I'll make no changes to the scoring system. More info once I pick out the format that will work best.
Gladly open to rule suggestions or clarifications.Last edited by dscards; 02-04-2014 at 01:16 PM.

Sounds good to me, I'm in...But I don't have a photobucket and can't post pics here (size restrictions)- could I perhaps email them?

I suppose that would work. However, I think this would be a great time to look into getting a photobucket! It's a superb tool for collectors.
