How are your Home Team's Rookie's Doing?????

My home team is Winnipeg, and after a slow start Scheifele is really starting to find his groove in the NHL, piling up assists, and now, also going harder to the net, with more confidence, and scoring more goals. He is on his way to being exactly what the Jet's hoped for, a # 1 centre, He really see's the ice well and has been his best between Wheeler and Kane, so maybe someone can actually mesh with Kane after all.

Trouba, what can I say, a man child, logging the most D-man minutes as a 19 yr old rookie, a plus 10, with 21 pts, all that while missing 15 games or so. Simply, the kid is a Stud.

How about your team, I am mainly interested in the lesser known rookies like Ryan Murphy, Jenner, Grigorenko, is he a bust, or to soon to judge? I shouldn't say lesser known, just perhaps not putting up big #'s yet, but do they at least look like they belong. The NHL is so big I haven't seen some of these guys even play yet on TV.....mainly just the Canadian teams, Lack looks like the real deal....

For the Senators, there hasn't been much we haven't seen already outside of Cody Ceci (all others played games last year IIRC) but Ceci has been great. He's played well enough to earn himself a roster spot for the rest of the year, so that's a good sign.

Ryan Strome: He's gotten better as he plays more games. In the beginning he looked completely lost, almost in awe of the games. I think it helps him also that he is not playing with Peter Regin anymore. He was recently sent down because of the Olympic break.

For Vanocouver, Lack sometimes looks like the only GOOD player on the Canucks. Stanton was injured this season but was doing good before. Lain is ok but not sure if he will get better or stay a 4th liner.

Except when he plays against the Jets, bahahahaha, sorry couldn't resist.

Therrien calls them up for a game or two and plays them for 6 minutes, tops. I'm sure it does wonders for their confidence.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Well for Pittsburgh there has been 6 rookie debuts thanks to some major injuries.

Dumoulin and Samuelsson only played a few games on D each so ill leave them out
Zach Sill- Good solid checker 4th liner impressed with his hard work I like guys like this
Jayson Megna- Looked like he was going to be a decent player had a few goals then got hurt. I still think he has potential and I like him aswell.
Brian Gibbons- Super Fast, can score looks like he has the best chance to stay on them team. Works hard playing with Sid and Kunitz right now looks solid.
Olli Maatta- 19 year old phenom IMO. Kid looks like he will be a top scoring D in a few years. Still needs some work on his D and could bulk up a little gets pushed around sometimes.

Beau Bennett- (Last years Rookie) Got Hurt early. disappointing that he is out and wasn't all that impressive when he was healthy
