Every American woman over the age of 55 writes a cheque for nearly everything.

    I'm guessing that's an estimate...

In grocery stores it's pretty accurate.

The last time I lived in Canada in 1998, I never saw anybody write a cheque, here it's daily.

My random thought of the day:

I'm a Geologist, specializing in Igneous Petrology....I study minerals and rocks that are at the beginning of the rock cycle, and I study our Earth's core using data from those rocks...

    I'm a nerd.

You also know, like myself, that the Earth is not 6,000 years old. That makes you a genius compared to 135 Million American Republicans

100% accurate. My mom still does. At least when she goes to walmart they just have her tear out a check without filling anything out.

Our extension office only accepts checks.

Here's one to ponder, in the cartoon spongebob squarepants Mr. Crabbs lives in bikini bottom, think about that one.

Sponge Bob Squarepants will never be the same for me again...and yes, I really do watch it occasionally. It is my one immature indulgence.

Why do people say PIN number when the N in PIN means number? Do they not realize they are saying Personal Identification Number Number?

(True story) My daughter and I were in line at McDonald's and we noticed a sign behind the counter that said "Picture and Braille menus available". Think about it.

Why do people say Neonatal Nicu? Same thing ….. Nicu means Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Why did the idjits at Taco Bell call the 1996 promotion: : The El Grande Burrow = The, the big donkey?

Do the people who think the Chevy Nova didn't sell in Spanish speaking countries (because "no va" means "not going") also imagine the French think a dinette set is for little people?
