Red is not bad IP as long as you're patient. He doesn't sign every day but I bet he does it about once a week (if you happen to be there that day). When he signs, he does pretty much everyone who wants him. Poor guy is 91 and I've seen him sign for at least 35-40min straight. Today, it was just me. I'm not joking about Ellis being tough...

Did you ask Ellis if he was allergic to a sharpie again?

Not today. There were only about 10 graphers there today. The Cards were away playing the Mets and Ellis was there with the other players that didn't travel (I got quite a few today). He actually pointed at me in the line, drove up to where I was standing, grabbed my pic and said, "There you go." He only signed 4 items. I was at the stadium for the Braves vs Marlins game today and just walked over to the Cards side before the game started.

Well, that explains why Bruce hasn't responded to my letter of request yet if he's down in Florida. I sent it out on 2/12. He should be in the Hall in the next few years...

Bruce is here every ST and enjoys shooting the breeze with those that recognize him. As an umpire supv, he charts the boys in Jupiter & St. Lucie ballparks. And yes, he should be making the HOF very soon (much to the dismay of Milt Pappas - LOL!).

Mets vs Cards today at RDS. Could have gotten more Cards but really... Went for only Mets that I had not gotten previously.

John Franco, must have really liked the pic because he had a nice smile while signing.
