Which is a more reasonable source for a word definition?

Anyway, which is a better resource for word definitions

    A: http://www.merriam-webster.com/

B: This girl who posts videos on YouTube

I apologize to Habs for saying he used YouTube as a source when in reality, he used this random girl on YouTube. Because I didn't make that distinction, Habs feels the other poll is misleading. As such, I've changed it the difference between a dictionary and YouTube, to the difference between the dictionary and this girl on YouTube, whom Habs may or may not know and have filmed himself.

But trust him when he says it's totally not about semantics.

See, this is the stuff I do not have time for. Not posting on a messageboard, arguing red herrings posted by a very bad debater. So bad ..... well, you can all see how bad he is. Try not to judge him people. I obviously struck a cord and now he is delusional.

Yet you're here, which proves you a liar.

Not posting on a messageboard, arguing red herrings posted by a very bad debater.

You might not, but I do. I notice you still have the time to post all day every day, despite claiming you don't have that kind of time, proving yourself a liar.

    Good point. Real thinker.

well, you can all see how bad he is.

Personal attack. We'll just file that with the video of a young girl swearing you decided to post.

Try not to judge him people. I obviously struck a cord and now he is delusional.

Go ahead and judge habs if you want, people. I'm not so arrogant as to think I can tell you what to do.

For a guy who rags on anything from FOX, you sure don't seem to be worried about your own sources. That sounds like a hypocritical double standard to me.

Would you accept a teenager on YouTube over an actual science book? Then why accept one over the dictionary. The actual difference between you and me is that when I find out the dictionary definition of a word isn't what I thought, I don't go looking for a different dictionary to reaffirm my own views. I don't go looking outside the dictionary to sites like YouTube, urban dictionary, and wikipedia (which I haven't even mentioned yet).

The point isn't that the internet is a had source, no matter how much you want it to be. The point is you're arguing against an official dictionary definition by claiming a teenager knows more about the language than the scholars who are, to this day, continually building our language. When you can even understand this, or the fact that this girl and urbandictionary were your only two sources that didn't call it a belief, then please respond. Until then, leave me alone. If you want to take your politics over fact, whatever. You're no better than the religious zealots, you just convince yourself lyou are. You're exactly the same.

If your only defense is to attack me on a personal basis, we are done here. I could just as easily call you a bunch of things, but I'm not so arrogant and childish as to stoop to your level. Good day.

Wow. So this is all you've got left. You're a very mature person.
