What will Panini do with unclaimed redemptions?
Since Panini has lost their NHL license, what will they do with unclaimed redemption cards? In the near future all redemptions will be expired and what becomes of those that are already expired? I guess they could use them as replacements, but would they replace a football or baseball redemption with a hockey card?
Perhaps they will have a fire sale like Pacific?Hidden Content

I heard the Pacific Vault cards all ended up in the hands of a very select few people. And by a few, no more than 3. I do know that very few of them have hit the market.
Somebody sold the entire 03-04 Pacific Plates as singles, along with a portion of Pacific Complete Plates, but that's about it. Pacific had so few redemptions to begin with. Almost all of theirs were specific subset redemptions, and not singles. They did have the various coloured printing plates for all the issues that you rarely see pop up from time to time, but I have only seen them with Pacific issues, and none of the hundreds of others.Last edited by centrehice; 03-31-2014 at 12:28 PM.

They have said that they will honour them. They're not going out of business by any stretch of the imagination so they will still be around.

Panini has always taken expired redemptions so I wouldn't be concerned with that. My real concern is are they gonna be able to fulfuill redemptions for guys that haven't signed for them recently. I'm sitting on a couple Adam Larsson redemptions and quite frankly I don't have much confidence that he's gonna ever sign for them now.

They still have a commitment to honor the redemptions, and they still have an NBA License and are still producing stickers like fiends. I am guessing business as usual.
