I would recommend anybody even remotely interested in Hockey, even if you hate the Leafs to take any chance to meet Mr. Bower, I had the opportunity to do so a few years back and will again at the end of April. The man is the most genuine, humble, and personable Hockey player I have ever had the privilege to meet.
if you've never had the opportunity to meet him and you're in the area for that show, jump on it, especially at $15 bucks, great deal for a great HOFer. If anything that shows even more how much he loves meeting the fans.

That's why he's one of our favourites and we keep bringing him back.
A little card show history for everyone... Annette & Paul Lawrence were the first card show promoters in Toronto with a show at the Lakeshore Inn. Bower was the guest at their very first show in April 1979. Almost 35 years and Johnny's still at it!

I did that Her shows- she actually was at the bond hotel prior to the lakeshore
I was 15 at the time ( in 1981) Used to sell complete sets of 79/80 at $50 a shot
