Boba's a homer. You aren't going to get him to listen to a common infraction that was missed by the linesman.
Referees don't call an off-side, he's a little confused, and trying to shift the goal-posts on you, by bringing up other plays that happened under the control of the referee earlier in the game.Last edited by centrehice; 04-27-2014 at 10:15 PM.

I am a homer, as most people root for their favorite teams that most of the time happen to be where they live haha. I actually wasn't sure on the rule, that's why I said I might be wrong, and it looks like I was, I've only been watching hockey for 2 years. All I'm pointing out is, while yes, the refs (or whatever) missed some calls that helped the Avs win at the end of the game, they also made and missed some calls that hurt the Avs. You can blame the refs in any sport in any game for your team losing, (just look at any sports forum) but the truth of the matter is that the Wild had a power play with 4 minutes to go in the game, and didn't make the plays needed to win. The missed calls would not have been brought up to this level if the Wild would have won, instead all the missed calls against the Avs would have been brought up.

The missed calls were brought up to that level because they are the reason the Wild lost. If they Wild won, the Avs would have nothing to complain about- They got away with a ton of stuff in that game that would never happen with a competent reffing crew

So you're telling me that the 2 missed calls where THE reason the Wild lost. It had nothing to do with the Wild's play? Kuemper giving up a goal to tie it up and one in overtime had nothing to do with why the Wild lost. You're right, those two bad calls played the whole game!

Bad and Call are bums, they should be in the press box nevermind playing a 60 minute shift...;P
On the other hand, a 60 minute game is often won or lost by ONE split second Mistake...HOPEFULLY,
but Not always, by a player....
Such is...The Game of Hockey....which cause coaches....and fans to rave like lunatics at the injustice....
often for days, months, even....Decades...if you live in... Buffalo.
For the sake of a decade of angst, I could live with one Coach's challenge per period.

Actually, yes. If the hold on Coyle gets called, or doesn't happen at all, the Wild are either up 4-2 or going on a power play with 2 min left. COMPLETELY different game. Instead, the puck comes back and goes in the Wild net (including being offsides). How is that non-hold call NOT changing the outcome of the game? The Wild played well enough to win the entire game, bring hurt by the officials the entire game. If it was a fair game, they could have easily won 5-2. I don't expect you to agree with me completely, but even the biggest Avs fan in the world has to see what I'm talking about.

Yeah, I'd say they were definitely THE reason the Wild lost. If those missed calls don't happen, then there's no goal and no overtime.

Fantastic game last night by the Wild. Came out strong, scoring 43 seconds into the game. Had a rough patch in the 2nd period, but came back fighting in the 3rd to retake and keep the lead. Love it, let's hope they can finish it off tomorrow night!

Going to have a heart attack, hoping someone wins it in the 3rd. Game 7 OT would be fun for any other series other than your team playing in it.
