    Looking for help.

I have a family whose father passed last year. The family has asked me to help identify, price and move an entire card shop worth of inventory. I am only knowledgeable in baseball cards. I am not necessarily looking for card values, rather, what boxes and sets may be good or may contain key RC cards. Ultimately they are looking to sell all of the inventory. They are not interested in piece mailing out lots or certain items. They want it all sold in bulk. They understand this means less return then if they sold stuff off bit by bit. That means they are willing to make someone a great deal. Please help me with info on this inventory and if you or you know of someone interested in buying a card shop inventory.

Sorry to hear about the family's loss. I've done collectibles appraisal for estate sales a few times and it's tough to tell them that the remainders are not worth as much as they might have hoped.

Are these boxes reprints or the originals?

These would be the "Missing Link" issue from Parkhust around 1994, as there never was an original 56-57 Parkie set.

Honestly, there's not much here to get excited about, as it almost all appears to be from the era of massive overproduction. The 87/88 and 88/89 Topps sets contain a few decent rookies and may garner interest.
The 90/91 Score contains Martin Brodeur rookies, which will sell for $3-$5 each raw but may also be candidates for grading. 43 boxes should yield 80-100 Brodeurs, if memory serves (anyone who has broken a case please feel free to chime in). 94/95 Topps Finest sees demand at $20-$25/box, perhaps even $30. 95/96 Finest maybe around $20-$25.

    Question on: Topps

    1995-96 Series I Canadian Gold & Canadian World 36 packs 8 boxes

Are these full insert sets or just hobby boxes that contain these inserts? Certain players from those sets generate interest, although a quick look at eBay shows little activity recently (but they are hard to find, relatively).

The rest is probably not worth the cost to ship, selling individually from $2-$10/$12 per box if they sell at all. There may be a "lottery" chance of pulling a big auto from a couple of them, but these are few and far between and generally are not accounted for when negotiating a bulk sale.

Hope this helps! Anyone with a different opinion please feel free to post in case I missed something vital!

There is also a 1955-1957 Parkhurst complete set of 180 cards, which is also a reprint set.

This. Also there are early 90s reprints of 50s cards, not one card is from 55-57, so don't advertise it as such, you will have an unhappy buyer haha
