I'd personally go for this over something like the Cup or Dominion. Yes the high end stuff has an opportunity at a card with a huge return but its also a monster gamble. $100 for a box beats $500 for a pack any day.

i did a box only had 4 hits but they were pretty good seth jones rookie selection auto /249, ollie motta titianium rookie gear auto /100, Jagr Luxury suite stick/gu /99, and a mason raymond score auto. Im sure it coulda been a lot worse than i did

Some are better than others.

My box was solid with a Jurco jsy auto /100 and Gallagher prime jsy auto /50. But with the double rookie class you can definitely hit a bunch of no name guys, always a gamble I suppose.

Just like opening packs/boxes/cases of hockey cards. So what's the issue here?

I'm not sure what was so misleading about our QC case break we did on twitter. We also posted a box by box break. The case was randomly selected off the line to make sure we were getting the right collation and hits. We did:

If we really wanted to mislead, wouldn't we use bigger hits to show off? Maybe a tag, all nice 4 color patches, huge name autos? The best pull in ours was probably the Martin Jones Select Gold /10.
It was a solid sampling of a case break and I've seen nothing from the multiple online cases I've viewed to suggest that ours was any different from most others out there. A wide variety of hits with chances to get some very nice cards.
I'm sorry the 9 boxes you watched from a 12 box case didn't meet your expectations. Hopefully you'll see or experience some better breaks soon. There are lots of examples just days into release that would suggest that most collectors are happy with the product.
I'm also disturbed that you would think we would try to mislead collectors with our previews. As far as I know, no other company does what me or the company does on twitter or blogs with advanced break previews and live QC's. If this is the type of reactions we draw, maybe it's something we need to rethink. It's purpose is to show collectors what to expect on average. Not to make them feel worse after their breaks.

The previews I saw in an earlier thread included a lot of other pictures that looked to be included in your case break. I don't follow twitter. The above picture does look more representative of the product. I apologize for my "misleading previews" comment, as that was out of line. I do feel this product does not contain a lot of value. By the same token there has been a number of Panini products that are good.

nice product. One of Panini's last send off products before UD rightfully takes full control of the NFL license.
