COMC for the past couple of months has to basically redo their inventory listings, search, and everything. It has been a mess. Much better now but before it was awful. Read their blog updates to see how hectic it was and still is. Beckett and COMC had an agreement to work together and then something happened between the two and Beckett took COMC to court to pull stuff down because they claimed they were stealing stuff Beckett copyrighted. People who had stuff up for sale weren't happy because it basically made stuff impossible to find and harder to sell. I still get errors when I search for stuff on there now.

I havnt seen your sale thread on here ,but heres some advice selling here. Have a scan of the card, make sure the picture is clear. List the price you want. Best offer threads don't get much of a response. You will most likely get most of your views in the evening when people get off of work. In the title, have key words of the set, player or team

shipping and handling is making it tough to sell now. It use to be easy to pick up a cheap card for your player pc or a set collection.
Now, with shipping and handling from US to Canada I will not pay the shipping price unless it is a VERY rare card. This is making it VERY tough for me to finish sets because I have to look for BULK from the US. COMC was great but now it is very frustrating with the catologue update and it makes it much harder to search. So right now I am on a short break from buying and have been working on databasing my entire hockey card, video game and comic collection.
I can't tell you how many times I have seen cards posted for sale on this site that I need (usually 2 or 3 cards that they only want a few bucks for), however I see they are based in the US and I don't want to pay the shipping...

sucks that the post office feels the need to punish Canadian customers and hike up the prices on them.

Canada Post has had it's own rate hike as well. Sucks for us, but they lose a ton of money, and it was inevitable. Someone in Canada Post called the postal service aN 18th century business model trying to work in the 21st century.

I just discovered COMC within the past week, and have ordered some cards from them.
I have a few thousand cards that I'd like to sell/donate, but their $0.25 processing fee per card is WAY too high for me, especially since I'd be selling most of the cards for $0.50 or less.......unless I'm not understanding things correctly.

You're understanding it okay....
It's 25 cents to process a card. That means you'd have to sell it for at least 26 cents to make any money, and that wouldn't be much.
I wouldn't recommend it for cards you don't think will move for less than $1 (despite the fact that I've got 100s of cards listed for less than $1 myself, lol)

For lower-end set fillers, I don't mind dealing with white enveloppes.

That sucks

I guess I'll go through all my cards, find out which ones are worth putting on there, and see if I can make some kind of deal with them. I have more cards to donate than sell, so maybe that'll help. I'm more into game used/autographed cards, so the cards I can't get autographed ttm, usually just end up in bcw boxes which take up too much space.

Let me offer you a thing yo help move cards.
1) better scans
2) titles can be found by searches on SCF. So if the cards are not written out in the thread title or search no one will find them.
3) list prices many people want a price so they do not have to guess.
You want sales, make it as easy on the buyer by doing some extra work. That just my opinion. I could list more but that just a start.
