To be fair, saying Bush was a crappy President doesn't blame him for anything but his crappy Presidency. Nowhere in there doe sit say anything is Bush's fault. It says the same pool of voters (US voters) picked Bush as picked Obama. Either that, or it is calling Bush, not Obama, the enemy of America. Either way, blame is on the voters, not Bush or any other of your drinking buddies.
So my question to you, AJ, is how on earth can you take that statement to be blaming Bush for anything? I'm fairly certain you breathe through your nose and keep your saliva in you mouth, so I see nothing that says what you think this does.

Just wanted to point out a few aspects of this.
1. Was considered a progressive (where have I heard that before?).
2. Was honored by the United Nations for creating a nationalized and modernized health care system (Hmmm, that sounds familiar too).
3. Rose to power during this guy's presidency...

It is easy to look back now and be critical of Hussein, but at the time he was considered a good leader by the DEMOCRATIC party to achieve a goal in the Middle East. It is just as easy to be critical of the Democrats for ignoring his bloody rise to power as it is to be critical of the Republicans for arming him during the Iraq-Iran War.

Hey, before 1939, Hitler had a lot of Western backers too. It's all good.

Nobody said it is all good. Just saying that hindsight is 20/20. In 10 or 20 years we will probably be looking back and seeing that we made the wrong decision on lots of our current "allies".
Case in point. We are currently supporting the uprising in Syria which is primarily the action of Sunni Islamist. In case you missed it, the Sunni were the primary group fighting against US and UN forces in Iraq and is the foundation religion for Al Qaeda. So yeah, I am sure that once they take control of Syria it will bode really well for the US.
