Conn Smythe Discussion
I guess it's getting close to that time. Sans a Rangers miracle, there are about 5 eligible:
Kopitar
Gaborik
Carter
Williams
Doughty
My huge nod is to Justin Williams. His key goals and assists have put the Kings in the position they are in. The man has been everywhere on the ice, in all 4 of the Kings series this year. Mr. Game 7 in NHL Playoff history.Last edited by centrehice; 06-10-2014 at 10:35 AM.

I'd give my vote to Kopitar. Playing more than any other fw in the team. 1 winning goal and the team pts leader.

They've had a lot of elite performances for sure. I think it comes down to Kopitar or Williams, with Doughty as a dark horse candidate.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

My vote goes to the man who walks on water, the man with the Jesus Beard,
MR. GAME 7 the most underrated player on the kings.
JUSTIN WILLIAMS!

Williams has earned it! But maybe they'll have to give it to Rick Nash for his 4 consecutive hat tricks in Games 4, 5, 6, and 7.

We can dream can't we?
I would have to say Justin Williams for sure....just a solid player with a knack for scoring timely goals. I think that has been the problem for the Rangers, this is not a team you can hate. NY just is not as "into" the series....look to be lacking the passion that is needed in the Finals

That was great!
Can you imagine Jeff Carter, a front runner a few weeks ago, isn't even in the discussion anymore? Great team effort by the Kings.

I love to See Kopitar get it....never in the spotlight among hockey elite but he has shown it in this playoffs
I would be ok with Williams too...Every key game he has come up big
