Did you not see in the target article that I posted where I made reference to the criminals who will prey on the unarmed shoppers there? Or what about the scumbag who raped and killed the little girl in Florida who is about to be fried. All of them deserve the worst possible sentence.

Average civillians on the streets should mind their business. That would reduce the chances of them getting into situitions that they do not desire to get in. Cops however are not civillians and are paid for by us the taxpayer and are charged with enforcing and upholding the law. The blue wall of silence violates their oath of providing service and protection.

If someone bashes my profession who in the hell cares? It is what I do to eat and keep a roof over my head it is not who I am. Why should police who are supposed to be hard and tough get all hot and bothered over what some guy who most of them will never meet says over the internet?

I understand that part but they are not paid a salary per sey to buy cars, homes, clothes, of their chosing. With the exception of congress of course.

It also makes the police's job much, much more difficult when people like you use intimidation to stop regular citizens from talking to the police.

And that's a problem in management, recruitment, and training. Not to mention that if you have your way, they would need to. I don't care who's paying them, if you don't want anyone talking to them, why the hell should they tell you a damn thing?

Maybe it's a question of poor word choice, possibly due to a lack of education, but you bash the people, not the profession. You call for police to die, no matter what they personally have done. That's just disgusting.
