Do these match up? Letang Prime Numbers

I thought I would try and put Letangs Prime Numbers White Letter together. I know its probably not going to happen but either way I have still have some sweet cards.

Anyways I bought this one already: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181482909707?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageNa me=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

    Here is one I think I need: http://www.ebay.com/itm/KRIS-LETANG-21-32-2013-14-PANINI-PRIME-COLORS-GAME-USED-NUMBERS-PATCH-PENGUINS-/171419811472?pt=US_Hockey_Trading_Cards&hash=item2 7e96abe90

My question is that I was wondering if these go together? I think they do but Im no expert on these and I don't want to buy the wrong one. Im not sure if they used 2 white number jerseys or not. I know the first one is part of the 8 and the 2nd looks like the bottom half of the 8 and part of the 5. Just want to double check before I make an offer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not so sure they do go together.

The "8" in the one on the left looks short and squat. The one on the right looks taller.
If you look at the middle square on bottom part of the patch on the left, the square inside the eight looks wider and shorter than the bit you can see in the one on the right.

Maybe it's just the scans that make them look different, but the cards appear to be the same size. So, the patches they contain should be to scale.

One is shoulder, one is back. So there would prob be 3 sets of numbers used from the Pens jersey. There will most likely be 2 99% exact same copies of the 21/32.

Just like mine from 12/13, mine is /8, but the full logo is only /4 ( 2 of each piece )

the back numbers are like 12" tall, I don't think you're getting more than half the height of a number patch on a card

Wow Good catch guys. I can see now that the one looks taller than the other. Drewk86a its really easy to tell when you put them side by side, I didn't catch that when I was just looking at them. Good thing I posted this thread first or I would have made a costly mistake.

Canucksfan its I understand what your saying by yours I can see the difference.

I never thought about one being from the shoulder and the other from the back. Thanks for all the help guys!

I agree, I don't think either is from the jersey back. Those numbers are waaaayyyy too big.

Did some quick math. If the cards are 3.5 inches tall it would put the FULL number in the right hand patch at approx. 4.16 inches tall. The FULL height of the number in the card on the right would be about 5 inches. I don't think either of them are from the jersey back.

You also need to check the font used on those jerseys. In some fonts, the top circle on an "8" is smaller than the bottom circle of the "8". So one of the cards could be a top piece, while the other card is the bottom piece.
