    I have no doubt there are people who call themselves reverend and are racists and white. My point was a true reverend wouldn't do that. Being a reverend in title and being a reverend in persona are two different things.

    My point is reverend is a simple title bestowed by men. There is no such thing as a "true" reverend except one who holds that occupation.

    So yes, a true reverend can be those things. He only need be a reverend to be a true one, and men have bestowed him that title. He's not special.
