National Treasures RPA Game Used + Question?

I noticed that Olli Maattas RPA Has the alternate or retro pens logo on his cards same with Jayson Megna. However Beau Bennett has the regular Pens Patch on his cards. I didn't think these were game used but the differences lead me to think that they bought these jerseys.

If they were photoshoot jerseys wouldn't they use the same jersey for all? If they are photoshoot Vegas could you maybe explain why or the decision there? I have no problem at all with them I was just wondering.


Also Vegas I was just wondering why Eric Hartzell (Pens Backup Goalie for 1 game) Gets rookie auto patches and jerseys in both UD and Panini products but Jeff Zatkoff Pens backup the whole year get only autos?

Not bashing Panini here at all just wondering for my general knowledge since Vegas responds and I cant ask UD because there not on here. Thanks!

As for Zatkoff/Hartzell, the decision was made to send Hartzell jerseys when we made his deal. We were only left a limited amount of Pens jerseys after him, and decided to see if Maatta debuted. He did and we sent him all remaining jerseys we had.

Interesting Thanks for the very quick reply! What do you mean you were only left a limited amount of pens jerseys? Who leaves you these? Also when you say you sent Maatta the remaining jerseys what does he do with them? Does he wear them in a game or does he wear them in other things that you do such as the Photoshoot and others?

We had a finite number of Pens jerseys we wanted to use for the year. We purchase authentic game ready jerseys to use for the photo shoots. Maatta wears them while our rep witnesses it, signs a contract stating he wore them, then returns the jerseys to us for us to use in product.
