I guess I should use the term "non-committal" since he always waits to see what the social leaning is before he takes a stance on an issue. Example: ISIS has been a growing issue for a year, but he claimed to not know they were a threat and then sat on his hands and did nothing until the polls showed that more people favor doing something than doing nothing. He is essentially a popularity-driven leader.

No, you're right. I just laugh when people say he's not a lefty. It's sheer stupidity if you read or listen to the man. Oh, and he called ISIS the JV of terrorists I believe. This guys out of touch.

By middle of the road I mean he is wishy-washy and never takes a hard stance on anything (until he has no choice). He walks the middle of the road until he sees which direction is the popular choice and goes that route.

Obama is neither awesome nor evil. These are two extreme concepts held by people who accept the media perpetuated perceptions of him. Watch MSNBC and Obama can do no wrong, watch FoxNews and Obama can do no right. The reality is that Obama is a middle-of-the-road, ineffective, mouth piece with no real stance on any issue, no real idea of how to handle anything and no real value to the American people.

In all reality I think more and more Americans are having to accept this harsh reality. A NY Times poll from 2 days ago shows him with just a 40% overall approval rating and individual ratings of 34% on foreign policy and 40% on the economy.
