WWE sources have confirmed that The Great Khali is no longer with the company.
As we reported last night, Khali’s profile page was moved to the alumni section of the official company website.
Apparently Khali’s contract expired last week and the company decided not to renew it.
This was said not to be a surprise as there had been talk going around for a while that Khali was going to be let go.

And here I thought Vince was trying to break through the market in India? He definitely won't be missed by me. I also read the same thing happen to Brad Maddox? His profile being moved to the alumni section. If he's gone I think it's a big mistake. He could've been a great heel wrestler or a great addition to the commentating team. Replacing Lawler or JBL (I think we'll forever be stuck with *shudder* Michael Cole..)

I am not really shocked by the WWE not renewing his contract. In the past year he only appeared on TV a hand full of times. Isn't he a police officer in India? or am I just making things up in my head.

I think the story is that Khali killed a police officer in his native India. I'm not sure what happened but there's lots of corruption there.

The rumor with Brad Maddox is they put him in the alumni section due to the storyline that he was apart of.
