:)
A win over San Jose last night ended the streak. They've now beaten a western conference team. No team record.... the longest losing streak was 13 games, this one only got to 11.

Geez they can't even do that right? They only needed 2 more games and they let the fans down again.
Shame.

So....bad news, Jets lose D-man Enstrom, Bogo, and Trouba!...but end the Sabres win streak with a 5-1 win....than they lose another, Stuart, that is their top 4 out!....but they beat the Bruin's tonight 2-1! Hutchinson SV% even higher, to 9.40...and so it goes...
I was the best of times, it was the worst of times....The Bruin's are a lil too old, way too slow, and can't score...Lucic at 6 mil is doing Nothing...Krejci is good, but not 7 mil good, oh well, maybe than can get Taylor Hall from the Oil...

My mighty Wild are terrible. I was expecting to finish in the 5-7 range, which could happen, but it's really tough to make up ground in this league.
Goaltending has been horrendous (which is the first time ever in the past 15 years). No matter how bad the team, the goalies have always been a strength except for this year.
Vets...Pominville has been bad, Koivu is what he is now( a third line-ish center), Vanek has been awful (but I wasn't expecting anything from him anyway).
The kids, Granlund (a huge step backwards, he is now playing not to get injured, playing out the year hoping for a big contract after next year). Coyle (not even noticeable a lot of nights). Nino (great year for him so far, will be hard to keep the goals coming). Zucker (good year, getting a lot more then expected, even while getting bounced around from every line). Haula ( a small step backwards, but still learning the league). Brodin (excellent, does almost everything thing perfect, hoping he turns into a more offensive defenseman.
Anyone not mentioned has been good. The top 4 Dmen have been nice, but have only played together 7-8 games. The team is good 5 0n 5, but one of the worst teams in the league in the PP has derailed the season. That, and a goalie hasn't come close to "stealing" a game yet this year.
The Wild are now one of the softest teams in the league. They will go 20-40 minutes in a row without attempting a check. Getting Cooke and Carter back will help a little with physicality, but would be a big problem come playoff time.
Leading the league?
I guess to only stat the Wild can be league leading is......Mumps. They've had like at least 5-7 Dmen with the mumps so far.I collect anything I need from 07-08 Ultra hockey..07-08 Heroes and Prospects.

Interesting, just listening to local radio, people saying the Wild are the Jets biggest threat for play-off spot...shame if Grandlund is a softy with all that talent, makes me think of Selanne for some reason, in his rookie year here, he took a few good hits, but he got up and knocked someone on their can, the crowd went nuts, but more important, it backed off the "wolves"...
