Leafs fire randy carlyle
Today Leafs fired Carlyle last night, he will be replaced by 2 nobodies for the Cap's game, Nonis should have been fired in the summer, they fired all of Carlyle's assistant coaches, and Shanny hired these guy's, maybe the team has too many FAT CAT'S on the team, maybe those BIG CONTRACT'S were given out way too fast, because the team had to fill out the team with lower type players with really not much of a salary cap hit.

I'm a little surprised about this. Sure they just dropped 7 of 10 games but they've been on the road 8 of their last 10 games. They still have a winning record and a good record at home. They're still running for the playoffs and it's not even half-way through the season for them. Toronto's next 3 games are all against teams they beat last time including in Los Angelas.
I agree he should have been fired in the summer and not right now but I also think coaches should be given more of a chance instead of always being the scape-goat for what is usually management and not coaching. Then again I knew he was going to get fired and it was only a matter of time.Master List: Hidden Content

There in 8th spot, 1 point of ahead of Boston, and Boston has had so many injuries this year to top it off.

I was also shocked at the timing of his firing. Something tells me this probably came from Shanny directly. Nonis I suspect has very little room for error and will be immediately fired at the next losing streak. Then Shanny can bring in his own group and start new.

Its all Phil Kessel's fault! :P Seriously thou, it isn't his fault Nonis gave him 8 mil...and the hardest thing to do in the NHL is score goals, but team's, fans ect always want to single out One scapegoat, ie Seguin, Luongo and so on, player's who do just fine after they are traded away and the return for them is never as good. jm2cts
