Best Course of Action?
Alright so I made a deal with new member from US. Sent four cards to me with a value of about 200$
New member so he sent first. Sent it UPS with a value of 400$.
90$ COD on delivery that I had to pay.
I still have his end. What should I do here? Don't know why someone would send four cards through UPS

Honestly..I might have refused it.90 bucks is a lot for c.o.d. Maybe he added the c.o.d. to the card value and 400 was the lowest he could get it for.But you're are right...why go the UPS way. This is why I try not to deal with Canada bc of the price...good luck

Well the member is new so he may not have known and just though UPS is the best way to go for a high end lot. I would contact him and see if you guys can work it out.
When I first started I made a mistake and put the actual value of the cards which was over $300 cant remember now and the Canadian member had to pay a big price as well over $60 but I cant remember. I had no idea that would happen. We were able to work it out.Flickr: Hidden Content

I would have had the cards shipped to COMC.com mailbox, you should get one.
I've had this happen where someone declares the value as the BV and the SV and I ended up paying a crap-load in duties. I have also refused a package from UPS for having to pay outrageous amounts of duties. I have one UPS driver that I've seen in 4 years and he says you can refuse and you can also call head office and complain about the outrageous amounts which I have yet to do because I don't (or haven't) purchased from someone using UPS in a while.Master List: Hidden Content

Only time I've ever been majorly burned on an international transaction was through UPS. Bought a full collection of Metallica fan club magazines and they nailed me for over a hundred bucks. Hurt like heck. But that's customs for ya.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I have had that happen a couple of times in the past. I just refuse delivery and it gets returned to the sender.
