A 50/50 only benefits both members if the person getting the autographs needs an item that you have. For instance, I don't have anything to get signed for athlete x, and you can send me two of item Y, then it works for me.

To me, if a person offers the 50/50, then you can take advantage of it, but you can't just make a blanket statement that you are looking for a partner to do a 50/50 for you, especially when you are not offering up some 50/50's of autographs that you can get.

Getting autographs at a game or event requires time, effort, and money for gas, maybe parking money, maybe tickets purchased, etc. Anyone who offers a 50/50 is being very generous, as you don't have to do anything except put something in the mail. Some people will certainly go out of their way to help a fellow collector, and some will only do so when it is convenient.

One more thing, I noticed that your post asked if anyone was willing to 50/50 NASCAR. This is pretty generic, as there are tons of drivers in Nascar. Perhaps if you narrowed it down to a couple of favorite drivers, that would help, otherwise, it is a pretty broad question. Also, even though your favorite may be the top driver in Nascar, that is probably not someone who will be easy to get two autographs of (the basis of a 50/50), so you should think about your list and try to whittle it down, and try not to ask for the ones that are next to impossible to get.
