I believe you're right. Although, I viewed it on another site that hosted it. Cop literally picked it up and tossed it next to the dying man. Just plain dirty. Had this not been taped, cop would've received administrative paid time off and given a psych exam.

So now cops are judge, jury, and executioner?
no the cop would be doing their job and stopping a criminal from escaping arrest and going into our neighborhoods.
Put your gun away, be a MAN, and stop thinking that humans are live targets.
first off they are the police. second will the criminals stop doing crimes?
do you think the streets are safer without the police?

I think life imprisonment for any police office - and certainly for THIS police officer - is significantly more punishment than death could ever be.
This guy is going to be begging for the chair after a couple nights.

Would you freaking stop using GD. It is offensive and hateful.
I think you should be a man and seek out a cop and say the same trash that you spread here.

Had this not been taped, cop would've received administrative paid time off and given a psych exam.
I disagree. They would have been able to tell there was no real struggle, the guy was not tazed, the distance of the shots fired, and he was shot in the back.
so even if it was said the guy grabbed the cops tazer and ran off, it is still not legal to shot the guy in the back.
I think in this case this guy should have never been a police officer. I cannot say the cop shot in anger or any form of malice, but he obviously did not do what he was trained to do and what the law allows him to do.

How far did this cop really think this 50 yr old man was going to run?? The man posed no threat to the cop running away from him. What ever happen to the billy clubs? Are those not used anymore? By the way, this has lawsuit written all over it.

Thats fine. This officer would've recieved administrative leave and given an exam prior to returning to work. Police tend to back one another up in certain instances. I don't beieve this would not of been any different if this weren't recorded. I'm not arguing about whether or not other things happened.

Shooting a fleeing suspect is NOT the correct action unless he poses a threat to a cop or the general public, obviously that wasn't the case in this situation.
No, I do not.
But the people cops are supposed to serve is the general public, you aren't serving us if you're killing us left and right without proper provocation.
First of all, this is the way I talk....and I tame myself sufficient enough in order to comply with the rules, I'd be dropping f-bombs if I could.
Secondly, my GDs are not aimed at you or anyone in particular, it is the my way of expressing frustration.
Lastly, just in case you think I say it to spite the Christian god, I assure you that I don't, GD is just an expression to me that I throw around, I don't do it to spite god, I don't believe in god.
The same can be applied when I say "Oh my God"....it's just an expression to me.
@My critics.....do you think I've always been this hostile in my words towards American police officers?
Obviously I haven't.
I've never been arrested, I've never had a big problem with cops, sure I've gotten tickets before, but nothing serious.
But I can NOT stay quiet nor can I quell my anger when I hear story after story of cops severely abusing their power....this is NOT a random thing, it is occurring at an alarming rate.
No, I DO NOT hate cops....but I've grown to distrust them, I've grown to believe that they LIE, and that they cover for each other.

UPDATES AND NOTES!!
Note #1 The Police report that was done for this MURDER is laughable....the Officer who shall hence forth be called a SCUMBAG POS by myself said that the suspect was in a scuffle with him and the suspect took the stun gun from him and he feared for his life....Yeah, I'm sure this guy is the FIRST cop to lie on a report.
http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/08/us...eath.html?_r=0
Note #2 What isn't being talked about too much is the blatant planting of evidence that Officer SCUMBAG POS attempted....again, I'm SURE he is the FIRST cop to do such a thing.
And like I said previously....who will people trust? An officer of the law? or a dead "thug"?
Update #1 YUP, you knew it was coming....people have set up a GOFUNDME campaign for Officer SCUMBAG POS....thankfully the site rejected it, HOWEVER, it is LIVE on indiegogo.
http://thinkprogress.org/justice/201...harged-murder/
OF COURSE this was gonna happen, I'm NOT shocked, nor will I be surprised when he receives a lot of money for his "defense".
Note #3 For those of you that have been talking about a suspect fleeing from the cops, you might want to read what SCOTUS has said about that....from 1985!

With ALL that being said....I URGE the prosecution to ask for the DEATH PENALTY in this case.
We have a police officer executing a man in a horrific matter, lying on an official police report, and planting evidence in order to frame the victim......this is sickening, Justice AND REVENGE must be served!

Plus the officer fired 8 rounds, with 5 hitting the intended target. What about the other 3? They had to of stopped somewhere. Cop is fortunate that they didn't hit a child or penetrate through a wall of a home or passing vehicle.
Unfortunately, this officer's life will be spared from the death penalty I think. He probably won't fair too well in prison though. It's a shame really. Was kind of hoping ole Sparky would be brought out of retirement.Last edited by Zimbow; 04-09-2015 at 02:57 AM.
