Panini Redemption: Ask a remplacement ?
Hi,
I wait for 2012 Panini Certified (12-13) Certified Icons Signatures of Gilbert Perreault (#/25) since April 2014. I can get a replacement by Panini if I want. I would like to know if I can get a good remplacement or I need to wait a couple month.
Someone asked a remplacement by Panini, and what's the results ?
Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

I have not asked for a replacement from Panini yet, although there are a few that I have that are getting old. One thing I've heard is that lately people have not been always happy with the choices Panini makes for replacement. If you are a Perreault fan, you might want to keep waiting, since you might not get a Perreault in exchange. If you just want an auto, perhaps something is better than nothing and you should ask for a replacement card.

It's up and down. It seems some people get killer offers, and some people get hosed. There is no guarantee. Personally, speaking as a Sabres fan, I'd hold out for the Perreault.
Please check my inventory before my photobucket!!! It's more up to date!!!

Seems lately it's a real crapshoot. My homeboy notoriousluongo101 got hosed badly on an exchange recently. Others have done well.
Make sure to be specific with players that you want in exchange if you go that route. Pick three guys, be reasonable about it, and you should be all right.

Does anyone have a rough estimate on how long Panini is taking to fill the requests?
I have 3 rookies from 12-13 Certified (MacKinnon, Galchenyuk, and Tarasenko) that I put in in December, just wondering now how long I should wait.

If the cards are live, then I have found it takes anywhere from 10 days to 8 weeks, maybe a little longer.
I am assuming those particular ones are the Rookie Redemption. Tarasenko has some sales on eBay and therefore is live, but I don't see anything on the others, which is strange. Perhaps someone who has redeemed one or is also waiting will have some insight.

It all depends on where they are in their "cycle" through the sports and names in each sport.
A friend had a Subban redemption (card was live though) that he pulled in September and they finally got around to shipping it in March.

Checked in on Panini redemptions to update shipping address and ask the redemption costumer service how there redemption program works and basically if you state your team/Players you like they might accommodate but anything less then a $ 100 is a random card equal or greater BV. Example i asked for a replacement for my Tinordi Dominion (after 11 Months) BV 30, it got replaced with a Brett Bulmer Luxury suite /99 (BV 40). Sure its technically equal, but not even close IMO.
But if the BV is over $100 it sounds like they try and work with you the best they can. Hope this helps with your decision.
