Traffic was slower then past shows but we had plenty of Heroes and Prospects opened at our booth. Not much, if any, was left at the show t purchase at the end. I wish more product was brought into the show by dealers for people to open, but most H&P that was brought was sold and opened.

For me it was so/so I always love taking my boys to the show so that will always be the most important thing for me at the end of the day, also I knocked my top 2 cards of my want list picking up both a gretzky rookie and bobby ryan shield both at well less then i thought I was gonna have to pay for them, sunday was slow but for me that allowed me to spend more time looking through boxes and what not......on the negative side paul coffey cancelled was the only auto I was hoping to get so that sucked but not as much as being asked all three days if I wanted a better alternative to cable, maybe its just me but I hate seeing these stupid booths and there are more and more each year i think there was one for toronto dinning, and im not gonna carry around a free toaster all day as an incentive for signing up with the star or sun.....my kids love the ice cream and the pepperettes but IMO there is no place at a sports card expo for these booths
Wayne Gretzky PC 1671 cards
Wade Boggs PC 411 cards
Tony Gwynn PC 195 cards

Wax is definitely too expensive. Didn't bust anything all weekend cause who wants to spend $100+ for just a single box. jeeez

Haha I snatched up a 10-box case of Decades 90s, opened 2 14-15 Leaf Heroes and Prospects and 2 Ultimate Vault. I wanted more Vault products but ran into a few Yzermans and Lidstroms I needed as well as a handful of Decades 90s cards and 1 ITG Captain C.
Had planned to buy Series 2 or Fleer Ultra just to get the 5 Update 25th anniversary Young Guns but after the first two hours I was there on Saturday all the $70-$75 Series 2 were gone and I just said screw it.
My friends opened a 2-3 boxes of ICE each. Reinhart /99 and a Quad Dallas Patch /5 were the hits. As well as 4 Autos in one day for my one friend.
There were less of the products I was looking for than usual but what I did find were cheaper than usual as well. Less people over-all and 2 booths advertising sports tv or a sports card selling site which I didn't see before and Upper Deck products were mostly over-priced.
All in all it was pretty good for me. I look forward to more Leaf products and a product or two of Upper Deck that may actually interest me.Master List: Hidden Content

I thought it was a good show. As a buyer I picked up a lot. Didn't break anything. The show was slower than some previous ones (especially Sunday) but the spring shows tend to be slower than the fall ones and was the best weekend for weather this year - not good for retail.
Which booth was yours?

Kuba and I were Booth 401.
We did ok but friday and sunday were super slow..
Only thing is you have to give your cards away to make money....
I picked up some sick cards too, couple stamkos PC cards and a few nice HOF autos and some nice rookies from Cup, Dominion, etc...
Overall it was very fun it's just it really takes a toll on you if you are a dealer there.
And if you sell to us dealers you have to understand we have to have the advantage.... AND EVEN MORE SO if you are TRADING with us!!!
Will definitely try and do the fall one WITH MY PARTNER & HOME BOYS !!!!!

It's definitely not what it used to be but it is still okay.
As an aside Upper Deck should only let show customers play their raffles. I saw quite a few dealers run back to their nearby booths and place their winnings with their sale items. Not a great way to promote the hobby or their product.
