From twitter: "Wes McCalley and Kevin Pollock are tonight's refs. Team records with them, #Caps 0-3, #Rangers 4-0. #NYR"
Also known as "the game 5 refs".
My wife's hair is two feet long, so you're not wrong. But if a guy is offside by two feet that should be an easy call for an NHL official in a playoffs game.
That's really long. I'd like to know her secret to keeping it untangled.

The fact that Ovi is the best best scorer in the world and arguably the best player in the world and is playing with just an average team. a grinder is on thier first line (joel ward)..no one in the leauge deserves the cup more imo. Ovechkin has pretty much done it all...except get a cup so Im really pullin for him.

Another couple of years off of my life, Washington has nothing to be ashamed of as they had us Rangers fans worried all series.

Wes McCauley and Kevin Pollock strike again, sorry Caps. No where near the boards, didn't get hit anywhere but in his back, and Girardi crumbles like a house of cards before laying there for a few seconds. It's a crosscheck but nobody goes down that easy, especially Dan "built from iron" Girardi. Result is GTG on a NYR PP that should have been 4 on 4 time. Sad to know that the Caps probably would have advanced in game 5 if it weren't for that waved off goal.
Caps just didn't get enough from there veteran 2-3rd liners. Backstrom the biggest culprit. Kuznetzov and Burakovsky were pretty fun to watch. They should be really good in a few years.
Now to see if Callahan heals up quickly enough to play his former team.Last edited by the_nange; 05-13-2015 at 11:43 PM.

But guess what the Rangers found a way, conference finals 2 years in a row I'm happy, you just keep proving you are anti-Ranger but that's okay, they are moving on and that's all that matters to me.

the_nange c'mon, you can't be serious. Fine if you think Girardi "dove" which is kind of difficult when you get a stick in the back, but what about the missed call where an elbow puts Boyle out of the game and a stick to the face on Hayes where he loses a tooth! Refs were bad on both sides...simple as that.
Now let's address the goal in game 5 that was waived off. I will give you that it was a bad call, but at that point you still have 2 games to close it out....one at home...can't say a series was lost on one blown call. That's playoff hockey!
Sounds like sour grapes to me and the fact that you claim you are not against the Rangers is laughable. Fine with me, we all need our haters!
