I don't think you understood my question or maybe you are just blinded by the rainbow but whatever. By bringing up shellfish , you clearly show your lack of understanding of the Bible or you just choose to disrespect it. The whole point of my first question was to reveal the obvious hypocrisy of the Left in that you truly don't believe in tolerance, you only believe it your agenda and you use the tolerance idea as your donkey to carry the weight. When that has run its course and the Left conquers polygomy and euthanasia next, you'll have to move on to more taboo agenda items that will infringe on the rights of Christians, what will you do then? Will you defend the rights of the Christians or will you bask in your temporary glory to discriminate against them because the government will let you?????
We know the true answer and it is a shame that you either can't admit it to yourself or you've drank so much koolaid, its a lost cause.
Fine, the government oks gay marriage, marriage should've never been a government sanctioned institution in the first place so its just another example of the government in a place it doesn't belong. Your the bigot, not me because I've never discriminated against someone for their color, sex, orientation, etc. Having a belief system isn't discrimination, you just say it is because it is different then yours.

Think about the following for a second.
According to studies....more or less 70% of the American population classifies itself as "Christian".
And yet the support for gay marriage in America was about 55-60%
What does that tell you?
That a GOOD PORTION of people who classify themselves as Christian ALSO support gay marriage!
Christianity is not under attack and probably will never be....not in the U.S at least.

1)Christianity is ALWAYS under attack, even in the U.S.A. Just read through some of the comments made on this thread, there are some here.
2)Gay marriages/partnerships are individual choices/decisions. However, they aren't right and the U.S. Supreme Court should NEVER have done what they did.
3)ALL creatures on Earth have mates, male & female, so they can reproduce. And ALL creatures have been able to reproduce because of that. So, ALL creatures, to be able to continue generation to generation to..., need to have mates of opposite sexes. So, male & female is the correct "marriage" of ALL living creatures on Earth, including US - humans.
4)What would be the human population on Earth be if ALL men mated with other men, and women with other women? Very simple answer - ZERO! Same sex marriage just isn't right.
5)If your parents had been of a "same sex marriage" YOU wouldn't be here. You would not EXIST.
Even though the Christians, and I am one, have been attacked by comments from some non-believers here on this thread, I will continue to pray that y'all will become part of God's family before you take that last breathe. I'd like for y'all to AVOID HELL, Heaven will be a much nicer place to spend eternity.
Post whatever you want concerning what I've posted here. Argue ALL you want, which is the ONLY reason why some of you post on this thread and/or forum. Some just like to keep things "riled up". Feel free to make any comments you want about this post of mine on this topic, I will not reply. This is my LAST post on this topic.
God Bless and have a Good Day, Rodney

Can't argue with your stats because people will say whatever they want about what they are or perceive they are. The reality is that most so-called christians aren't christians and I was one of them for a long time, I know a little about what I am talking about. So that being said, my point is that the saying christians do this or that or believe in this or that is kind of a partial truth and its not your fault or my fault. I think you know enough about christianity to know that the ones that say they are christian only say it because they have nothing else to say.
Real christians are changing their monikers to things like "Christ-followers" and "Believers" because the term Christian really doesn't encompass what the true Follower knows and how he/she lives their life.
You'll always know the Extremist and they make good fodder for evening news but you and I are smart enough that guys like Roof aren't christian, don't represent white people, and don't do anything but cause trouble for the rest of us. Its' the Haters that use Roof to advance their agenda against the groups they already want to destroy.

I won't bother to shred your "facts", I will just say this. We ALL post on here to express our opinions. JUST LIKE YOU DO. Expressing a different opinion is NOT an attack on YOU or CHRISTIANITY.

Thanks for being the first to reduce this name-calling. I never said you were a bigot. But if your belief system means denying rights to other U.S. citizens, rights that you enjoy, yeah I have a problem with that. It's so typical, you and your ilk claim you are constantly under attack all while name-calling and denying rights to other people (see also attacking) Again,I am christian, I was raised to believe that we are all equal and we are created by god and they to getting into heaven is to treat everyone well. Not to label people or treat them differently. Most of this country is christian and will not tolerate discrimination against christian. Even as mush as you think think the sky is falling right now, churches don't have to marry gay people or even accept them as members. The ruling doesn't affect christians other than allowing gays marriage licenses. If you don't believe in gay marriage, don't go to one. I won't even get into why there needs to be laws about marriage, it's a given.

Kind of sad when a large number of Christians support gay marriage while they under a complete orchestrated attack from non-believers. You have your head in the sand if you cannot admit that Christianity is under attack.

I would say that the views expressed by some narrow-minded folks who happen to be christian, are whats under attack. And rightfully so. They are wrong. period. And have no place in 2015.

if this was the case I would agree with you. Christians deserve the same amount of tolerance that should be extended to very other type of person. It is about time non-believers start exhibiting some tolerance of their own.
