Nice turn out at the sale! I was trying to do one last weekend but more chances of rain. Hopefully I'll get one more in before the end of the year. I did have my best sale yet in early August. sold just over 1200.00. It's funny how people think we are crazy, but get shocked when hearing about our sales.

I haven't had a ton of buys the last month, but am using that time to get through more of the stuff I have stashed away in the house and garage.

I did have a notable pick up that was rather interesting. The first is a lot of adult magazines that my friend picked up. he had three large boxes of it and was going to toss it out during his move as he didn't want to mess with it. He asked me if I wanted it and I said no. However, he snuck it into my truck the night before my garage sale... saying it was stuff he wanted to purge out. Long story long, I started looking some of it up and there were a lot of magazines that sell for $10-$20 per magazine. These aren't your average playboy or penthouse either. I've listed about 30% of the lot so far and have sold around $400. The funny thing is it's all been to the same guy.

Well I cannot begin to tell you what a hit the hot dogs and burgers were. Kept people from running thru and stand around and look for a bit. Older adult mags can sell well. I sell most of mine on the Bay because it is more private and folks are more inclined to buy. I am hoping for one more small yard sale for Columbus day weekend. That is when I put out 3 tables of sports cards to try and move singles and team lots. Great pull on the mags always love an almost thrown out story.

so its been awhile and wanted to update everyone on my pickups for the past 2 months...my collection is so huge now I have no idea what im going to do when I move in 9 months
these are all from either yard sales, facebook, flea markets, and craigslist pickups...I believe one of my favorite pickups was the Atari picture....paid 40 for it...didn't know that a few of the games in the boxes are some of the rarest games...
    hope you enjoy

UGH, this week must be deadbeat month on ebay. Have accepted four best offers this week and three of them are no pays. It baffles me that people go through the process to make an offer and fail to buy if their price is accepted. I wish ebay could put payment in escrow or something while the buyers offer is out there and if it's accepted the payment is instantly transferred. I guess that would be a big deal for ebay to handle but wish they'd actually punish these buyers that don't pay.

And to top it off I have a guy that bought a gameboy advance from me and keeps claiming my tracking number is bogus when it tracks perfectly on ebay and on usps. 0 feedback user. My guess is his paypal address is wrong or something.

    excellent finds cowboy!

I hate that it messes with my books during tax time.

I never really cared about feedback, but get why people want to boost their number.

Funny how Ebay had made MORE SELLER UPDATES but nothing that helps the seller one bit. It is unfortunate as I always say because the Ebay traffic can't be beat. But these deadbeats should be dealt with get a suspension ir something.
