Preview: 2015-16 Panini Complete Basketball
http://www.beckett.com/news/2015/10/...ll-first-look/
Old school and new collectors will be able to get back to basics with the release of 2015-16 Panini Complete Basketball, which will offer a very affordable per-pack price point of just $1 – a rarity in today’s hobby.
Panini America is digging deep with this release as 2015-16 Panini Complete Basketball seeks to live up to its name with the largest base set that NBA fans have seen for years. Not content to offer a bare-bones collection, there is also a compelling roster of traditional insert and parallel cards plus a chase element featuring ink from some big names. Releasing in November, it arrives just as the season is starting to get into full swing and may draw in hobbyists that have been considering collecting cards of the NBA’s best.

The home-away inserts are kinda cool and the fact that there's a dwade auto in a low end product is cool, but I'll pass.

Something for the kids and that's nice. But I still hate these product names.. do they draw random names from a hat. Jeeeeze! It's soooo BAD

Early days but this is looking like one small step in the right direction for Panini.

Looks like they are doing their take on Topps Total. Glad they are at least trying with a lower end product for a change. I might get some of this.

Complete? Hopefully they mean finished producing bunk sets. Looks like a re-badged Hoops/Donruss to me.

Hoops is set for release this month but I do hope it's a rebadged Donruss and not an addition to the influx of products.

I like that fact it's a buck per pack which is good for the hobby, Panini needs a balance of low end to high-end through out the year and not just release all their low end and the beginning of the year
