    Sam Reinhart The Cup Monumental patch is a slug?

    Saw this on ebay. Why? Can't be game worn, doubt it would ever be event worn. They wouldn't have had this sweater for him to wear, even for photoshoots...the slug was retired prior to Sam Reinhart...So what gives? I noticed some slug patches on the UD Premier patch cards too....

    Any thoughts?

    I just think it would be silly to do so...I know it was photoshoot, but who pushed the slug sweater on him? Buffalo was exclusively gone to the current logo...Seems silly....especially how badly that logo was...

    Didnt know they did that. Thought it was always recent jerseys from the upcoming season, or at the very least, the previous seasons jerseys.

    Nope, unfortunately like mentioned above, basically whatever Upper Deck has laying around they can have the player thrown on. His Premier 1/1 patch was from a slug patch as well

    Yeah pretty lame. Nichushkin has patches from the "Mooterus" jersey. It's been a loooooong time since the Stars wore that one.
