This may sound silly but living in Alberta my entire life, I have never been to a card show. What does one expect to see at these things? Just a bunch of dealers selling stuff flea market style? Or is there more to it than that?

A lot fun. What I enjoy most about the shows is chatting with new and old friends. Mostly about sports. I also love finding a card I have been looking for.
Most of the dealers are great to deal with at the shows. I always try and have the best dealers(prices, attitude and stock). I personally hate flea markets so I really try and run a show away from the flea market look and feel. I find also if everyone is having a fun time usually everyone spends a bit more thus the dealers are happy. If the dealers and the attendees are happy usually the promoter is happy as well. Hope to see you this weekend.

Great first day for the show. Lots of trading going on. Most vendors and attendees are smiling and having fun.

Did you make it down?
Seen lots of smiles from most people entering and leaving the show. I always enjoy a weekend of talking sports and collectibles with peers.
