I'm so confused as to why they would use Fucale instead of Condon. Fucale was called up for a couple days to fill a backup spot, and never even saw the ice.

I'm confused about this as well. Won't be complaining about an early Fucale Rookie card though. It's a shame for any Condon collectors, though.

UD likely already has Fucale Autographs, and they don't have any Mike Condon.


Doesn't meant Condon can't be one of the Wild Cards tough.

Base redemptions aren't auto's though.

Fucale is someone that people will invest in long-term. He's got a winning pedigree behind him with the Mooseheads and the World Juniors. He's a "good Canadian kid" and has some pretty good hype behind him. It's a shame he didn't get any time between the pipes because I know that UD would otherwise be chomping at the bit to load him up in as many products as possible.

That is correct.

So he'll be in just about everything but they'll probably have to pull back from the likely-originally-planned /99's in everything to something with higher print runs. Or else it's Justin Pogge all over again. Haha
