    Panini Redemptions?

Hey, all. I'm relatively new to collecting so I am still learning how all of this works. I recently pulled a Luxury Suite rookie autograph redemption of Vladimir Tarasenko out of a pack of 13-14 rookie anthology at my local card shop. I redeemed it online, and called Panini to ask about it. They said they have not made the cards yet and are waiting on autographs. Does anyone know where I can check periodically to see what cards are being made and get updated on autographs? Getting on the line with Panini is an act of Congress. Thanks a lot!

Have you created an online account? This is the best way to monitor the status of your redemptions.

They have been REALLY slow and not all that proactive with hockey redemptions since losing their license. Guess I can't blame them.

Waiting on this card too. Not holding my breath as Tarasenko has only signs a few products and since then Panini has lost the license. Holding out hope though. Nice card.

I think if you're going to put hope in a redemption, Panini would be my first choice. Even when losing their licence, they still honour redemptions. Sadly, hockey cards may be on the back burner since they have other products/sports to focus on, but they are good for it I'm sure. May take a while, but I think you'll eventually get your sweet card.

Congrats on the hit, best of luck. :)

I try and keep an eye on Panini's blog at http://blog.paniniamerica.net

They usually post on Fridays what redemptions have been returned in the mail. Sadly, hockey hasn't made the most recent lists.

The Panini blog has a weekly redemption update you can look at to see what they get each week. However as others have mentioned since they don't have a hockey license anymore they haven't had much movement with those recently. Its called the Knights Lance and they post it every Friday but the last hockey content was from the December 18th update.

1st off - as mentioned above, the blog that updates the redemptions coming back, and making an online account are both the best ways to keep track of your redemptions.

2nd - The Tarasenko is a great pull. If you really like Tarasenko and want that card, then hold out for awhile. If you have no attachment to Tarasenko, I might call them and ask them for a replacement. I'm not sure that Tarasenko will be loading up some sigs for a company without a license, and isn't exactly going above and beyond to chase players anymore.

    Good luck either way

Hey, everyone. Thanks for he replies! I found the blog, so I'll check on Fridays from now on. How does Panini go about replacements? Do they wait for me to call and request one? I do like the Tarasenko, but does anyone know what the replacement process is like? Do I get a pick of a certain set of cards? Or is it random. Thanks so much,
    Matt

You call them and request a replacement, and typically give them a team or a few players that you would like. For example you could request other St. Louis Blues, and then they would just randomly pick something of "equal" value from what they have in stock. Sometimes you get what you ask for, sometimes you don't.
