The 2 yellow plates are different. There is a mark on the bottom plate that matches the magenta plate. I would not be surprised if there was another magenta plate that matches the top yellow plate without the mark on it.
You can even see this mark on all of the current Halak Young Guns on ebay, for example this on has the zoom and you can see it in the corner:

It wouldn't surprise me if it turns out that isn't supposed to be there, and if so then it is even better to be able to see both sets of plates.

What mark? My eyes are going cross eyed.

I'm lost on the mark as well. I'm sure I'll see it eventually? Great find though!

Great eyes Tripredacus! I don't know how long it took you to find that, but considering how long it took me to spot it after you told me there was something to spot, that's pretty amazing.

Wow, now I see it. How you were able to initially spot that is beyond me.
Hawks eyes, man. Hawk eyes.

No you goofballs :p
The top left corner has an ink smear type mark. Something that I see often in other plates I have.

The 07-08 Young guns set had duplicate plates for sure. I own 6 Anton Stralman ones (2 black and 2 yellow)

Heh ... I guess my eyes were just playing tricks on me and showing me what I wanted to see. I suppose I was giving the card companies too much credit thinking they would produce a new printing plate due to a "dot" blemish.

So I guess this all means that some of the Halak YGs are "corrected" and therefore some are rarer than others and should command a premium???

It is difficult to tell. I looked on Ebay and can definately see that most of the ones on there have the mark on them. Also some other YGs of other players also have similar but some not. If there are 2 different plates then it is possible to have 2 different cards too. It is just hard to tell with the scans on Ebay, but it may be the "clean" or "cleaner" type is the more rarer. I don't think there will be any premium difference tho.
