Hmmm. There are a lot of angles to come at with this.
Not sure it was a "bad" move - if it weren't for the Warriors setting NBA records for wins, the Cavs would probably win the title this season. That's a lot more success from a win standpoint than being a big numbers guy for a bad team, like the Minnesota situation. I think Love's at a point in his career where he'd rather win than be the main guy for a lesser team; he made it clear he didn't like it in Minnesota.
And we have to remember he's playing with two other superstars. It's not statistically possible for him to put up the same numbers he did in Minnesota when you've got two other guys who need the ball a lot.
And it's not like he's been unsuccessful anyway - he still has averaged near double-doubles in the two seasons he's been a Cav; he's had some great games in this year's playoffs, particularly in the first two series (remember, the Cavs went 10-0 to start the playoffs, and Love's outside shooting was a major contributing factor to that), and he even had a decent game one to start the Finals.
I think it's getting a little overblown that his career has been hurt or that he can't co-exist with James or whatever. Sure, there are some matchup issues with Golden State right now, but for all we know, he could play a role in one of the upcoming games.
Anyway, Love will probably be ok. He will likely never have great lateral quickness or become an elite pick and roll defender, but even in today's less post-driven game, he has enough of a skill set that can pose problems for the opposition given the right matchups.

Cavs are tying the series tonight.

Glad I'm wrong. However, if the Cavs didn't have a 6 minute, "iso hero ball" scoring drought in the 4th then the outcome may have been different. The Splash Brothers showed up big time in a combined 63 points on 18/39 shooting.
Warriors set a Finals record for Most 3-Pointers Made with 17! 7 from Steph, 4 from Trey, 4 from Barnes and 2 from Iggy.
A couple things from this game. Draymond and LeBron got into it. I never seen LeBron that heated. LeBron and Steph had some words near the end of the 4th. And I noticed Steph and Shump having words earlier in the game. When did Barbosa get hurt?? And how? I felt Barnes had a solid game tonight. He was big in Game 3 too.
It's so funny how the Cavaliers can BLOW OUT the Warriors in Game 3 without Love. And tonight Love comes off the bench and they lose!?
Question to everyone: Right now, who do you see winning Finals MVP for the dubs? I gotta go with Iggy. His defense and overall game (scoring, rebounding, assists, strips) has been so incredibly huge. IF you were to take away Iggy from the Warriors before this series started, I don't see the Warriors being up 3 games to 1.

He is going to get killed by the media (to draw blame away from Lebron "Loser" James) if the Warriors win game 5. And he will be tarred and feathered by the fans in Cleveland all summer long.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

Draymond suspended for the upcoming game. Think the Cavs can get a second victory, or is homecourt and Curry/Klay still too much for them to handle at this rough point?

I wonder who Kerr starts in Green's spot? Iggy or Speights? I'm going to go out on a limb and say Varejao.
Anyone else?

Varejao's spunk and energy gave Love lots of trouble in the 3rd and helped give Golden State momentum heading into the latter part of the game. I'd only see him starting if Cleveland starts Love, which still seems unlikely at this point.
Speights is best as a points guy off the bench.
With all that in mind, I'd think he goes with Iggy.

So James body slams Green, then taunts him by stepping over him when he had the whole floor to move in, and then Green gets a flagrant?
