15-16 SP Authentic Preview (Updated with checklist)

Crap, the sign of the times Larkin D-Boss auto is /2. My wallet isn't going to lile this one, I've skipped every other Larkin auto released so far figuring I can wait a season or two until they drop a little but this one I don't think I'll have a choice because if one comes up for sale who ever buys it its getting locked away in a Pc permanently (just like I would do).

This release just turned into a bidding war between a couple big Larkin collectors and myself lol. Am I crazy in guessing that could be a $500+ card?

oh wow, i didn't even notice that. He's the only one with a split (different) inscription. I guess you have to hope somebody sells it with a "cheaper" BIN than the $500 that you estimate.

Sometimes I think UD tries too hard with this kind of stuff. Who knows, an extra squiggle on the "Fucs" inscription can get a little weird. Just stick with a plain auto, and inscribe it in a future set (maybe one, two years into his career) with a 1st NHL win date, debut, or something actually meaningful. Not just some made of nicknames or the typical "Go ____ Go!". Just my 2 cents. At first I thought this stuff was cool, but i think it's been done way too much on these extra inscribed sets.

I agree, half of the time the inscriptions are just generic and lame. That's why a lot of the Wings collectors and myself were excited when UD previewed the D-Boss inscription as its somewhat meaningful as it's become a nice meme among Wings fans in Wings groups. Most of us never thought he'd even sign with that inscription as originally Larkin was not thrilled with the D-boss video going viral. His friend posted the youtube video years ago and nobody really ever saw it, one person finally found it on youtube after Larkin made his NHL debut and the video went viral quickly and Larkins friend deleted it quickly after going viral. Problem was somebody had already saved it and re-uploaded it after Larkins friend deleted it and once it was re-uploaded Larkins friend decided to put the original back up since he realized it wasn't going to go away.

Thank god I never used youtube to upload all the silly videos I made in high school... poor D-Boss.
