Hello everyone!
I'm David, co-founder of Kronozio, full-time dad of 2 young boys, tech addict and French speaking native :)
Why the president of Kronozio told you this today? Only to let you know to this great community of cards/sports fans that under that strange name/enterprise there are peoples like you who have a family, friends, dream, fears.
I know that those days with that many web sites, that many scammers, that many liars it is hard to thrust what's new. I want to let you know that this project has been done with our heart, believing that there must be
a better and fun way of buying and selling sports cards on the web without paying exaggerated fees. We have been top seller on eBay selling for $15,000 - $20,000 per month buying hundred of thousand cards each month.
But you know what? In the last 2 years we have put 80% of that experience to the garbage and we started to gain the real experience when we started to talk to you guys. Talking to people that have so much more experience
in that passion than us. People that know what's good, what's bad, what's needed. We are a small team, thinking differently. We need all your feedback, all your opinions and all your experience to continually fine tune that system altogether.
ALL The comments and the suggestions we received since our opening last November are categorized and evaluated on how we can integrate it in the system.
As said we are a small team for now so we can't to everything shortly but all comments are taken and added to our list. We really want to continue that project listening to you and learning from you.
Have you seen other websites giving you complete software to manage and sell your cards, not charging to list your cards online in your own store, taking only 10% when you do sell. I don't think so :)
This it is to explain to you that our first motivation is to help the community and with good partnering like with SCF and with members that want to give us ideas we can eventually provide you that great system
to buy and sell your cards. OK now it's time to comment on my bad English. :) Or maybe send me your comment in French so I can laugh too. ;) hihihi
Thanks guys for your comprehension and in the next couple of days/weeks we will try to convince you that we can simplify and speedup the way you sell your cards on the web. :)
Have a great week.
sincerely,
David

Visited your site today, found it very simple to navigate and can see me visiting again in the future. One thing that I would like to see changed, and maybe its as simple as tweaking my search setting, is the following: when I did a search of cards for sale of a particular player, it brought up all cards for that player, including all multiples. So while my search returned a little over 300 cards for the player, this included 10 of the same card, 12 of the same different card etc. Would prefer if it only brought up the card once like comc, letting me know that there are 10 or 12 available starting at a certain price. would have likely narrowed the results down to about 75-100 cards and made my searching so much easier.
Wayne Gretzky PC 1671 cards
Wade Boggs PC 411 cards
Tony Gwynn PC 195 cards

Thanks Iheartjacquie for the comment!
Your totally right, in fact we have put most of our effort in the software and in reality the web site need a huge rebuild. We are planning on improving it a lot in the next couple of months and your suggestion is part of the top priority :)
Will keep everyone in touch of changes when they are done.
Have a great day.

Thank you for the fast response. I appreciate the time you took to answer my concern. If you put the same effort and customer care in to your site that I have already seen on here then there is no doubt it will be a success!

I too will be honest. I took a look at your site and thought- OK, its a COMC/Ebay cross thing. Meh, not interested.
However, the very positive discussions you guys have had with our SCF members is causing me to rethink this, and to take a real, hard look at your site. I may or may not use it, but I am very happy to have you guys on board here at SCF

Thanks for your comment palantri.
In fact it's hard to explain to people how we are different from other sites.
We will shortly give you more information but quick points for Kronozio are:
- We do not charge any listing or monthly fees to list cards on kronozio.com
- All cards on Kronozio.com have front and back images.
- You have your own store that you can connect to your own www.site-name.com (We have created a PDF that explains how to do this)
- You get a software that manages, clients, inventory, sales of Kronozio.com and that can sell on eBay.
- You can ask Kronozio to document your cards without shipping us the cards. We are doing it based on the scanned image you have done. (fees apply for this)
- Cards that you remove or that are not sold on eBay go back on sale in your kronozio.com store automatically. Your cards are always for sale online. :)
- That same software comes with a very unique scanning module that has been specifically done too easy the process of processing small to very large inventory in no time.
- We charge only 10% when you do sell with kronozio.com / For eBay if you sell more then 50 cards per month you need to take a very reasonable priced package BUT we are not charging any fees when you sell on eBay
- You got support !
But really what distinguishes us is our software. We have been able to do up to 100,000 cards in a single week. We also have super happy customers that have done only 100-1000 cards in 1-2 days because the process is easy with Kronocard.
And as already said, we are real people that want to listen to the real collectors. Not that we are not real collectors but compared to many of you we are not on the same stage. :)
That's a quick difference between kronozio.com and others :)
Ho WAIT! Don't forget that we are only a couple of month old :D
Thanks,

I like the idea at the very least. Part of what keeps me from selling online is that it takes forever to scan, crop, and save. But if this software automatically crops and identifies, it could save me a ton of time.
I am primarily an autograph collector and used to have scans of everything in my collection on a website. I stopped keeping up with it because it took so much time to add new ones in and delete old ones. If this was usable by collectors who do not intend to sell (perhaps offer the software for free to those who sell on Kronozio and have a version at a small fee for those who only want to use it for their own collection) I could see it being a major step forward for the hobby.
Et David-- bonne idée et je l'espčre savoir plus!
