You can fire off all the angry letters, e-mails, and tweets you want. It won't do any good. I gave them hell over Future Watch Auto redemptions a while back because I am still waiting for Vladimir Tarasenko and Matt Nieto to sign their cards. Upper Deck doesn't give a flying fadoo how you feel.

My guess, which is probably very wrong, is that they are going to start producing less autos in all products as their confidence level in getting autos in a timely manner from the players and the absolute dislike of having redemptions from the customer means they will put less autos in the product so they don't have to depend on getting enough sticker sheets, cards sent back, etc from as many players each year.

Welp, looks like it is presale set at around $125 from what I can find. I doubt many people will be hitting boxes worth their penny. Hopefully the checklist reveals a different story but then again it will be the market that will determine the true value. If they cut the total number of possible FWA's that may help but I am leaning towards this being a slight disappointment at minimum.

They have listened to people complained about the price of the product so the thought is you want to pay less, cost has to be cut from somewhere. The boxes will be $30-$40 cheaper than last year. What is killing the price is the Canadian dollar. Until that moves up, we will always be paying a higher price. I don't like the cost cutting but I understand the theory...Even though their margins must be crazy good!

It is only a pre-sale price. Lots can change between now and then. SPA hit the market at $160/box (prices vary from LCS)
and now are $180/box.

Not new but OK. What do you suggest they do? Honestly, when have you ever said " they got that right!". Can't please everyone so they are trying different things. I am not against it. Never know, it may work, it may not.
