I could see somebody making a case if Brady lost this game or even if he played poorly but he didn't and led the Pats to an amazing comeback with a rag tag bunch of offensive weapons. Unless he's playing against Eli Manning in the SB it is almost a lock that he's winning it.

Virtually all of Brady's Super Bowl wins are tainted by some sort of scandal. The media fawns give him the MVP for the game when he doesn't always deserve it (and he's admitted as much with the last two wins, giving away the cars to Malcolm Butler and, presumably, James White, from what I've been told). For #5, it was equal parts Falcons' bumbling in the 4th quarter on both sides of the ball, and the predictable selective officiating. The pass interference on Atlanta two plays before White's game winning TD was as bogus as the day is long, a ticky-tack call that often doesn't get called.

Even Patriots fans know deep down the last 2 Super Bowl wins were gifts. Seattle & Atlanta both had TERRIBLE coaching decisions/play calling to lose those games. Brady otherwise would be 3 wins, 4 losses in the Big game. That is not the GOAT.

I know Pats fans will respond with "but they did win so.......". You can't go by SB wins because the Marino/Dilfer case can be made.

And the two Super Bowls we lost on the tyree catch and manninghan catch is the same thing. Using your logic I can say if this happened and that happened then Brady would have 7 Super Bowl wins. But lets try and live in reality okay. I guess if Dwight Clark didn't make "the catch" then then Montana doesn't have 4 wins. Or the immaculate reception? Whether Brady is or isn't the best is open for debate considering era, styles, teammates, etc.
It doesn't make you great or not. Sad fan getting self worth by a football team winning.
