    Need help

    I just sent a member a PM and I reacted so quickly in leaving the message page to get to the forum but I believe the message said the members has no room for messages. Does the message I sent stayed stored someplace and eventually go to the member or do I have to rewrite the message again at a later date. If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated

    I believe you will have to resend it. If they do not have any space it will not be saved to receive later when they clear out their pm's. Hope that helps and I am not 100 percent certain.

    I have 198 stored messages, when I have tried to delete them they won't delete. I don't even know if I am asking the right person.

    @jvos

    From the PM you sent, it let's you delete the new messages but not the stored ones. Deletion in vBulletin work by selecting the messages first and then select the action to delete the selected messages. Now if you have created folder(s) to store message(s), you will have to go in every folder that have message(s), select the one to delete and select the delete action for every folder you may have messages in. This is made in order to prevent deleting messages you would want to keep.

    So this is my guess as to what is happening to you. Let me know if this work out for you.

    Well have you done this:

    Open every folder and in each folder, for each message you want to delete click the check box on the right (if you want to delete all the one on that page click the check box at the top in the header section on the far right and it will select all messages. The back will become yellow when selected. The at the bottom right after the list of messages you will see selected message, click on it, select delete and click on the proceed... button below. Then repeat on each page and in every folder the same action until it's all empty. Mainly other folder then the in box, all message have to be deleted manually in this manner.
