Looks like we will be getting our first Shea Weber Habs memorabilia cards!

I'm assuming we're looking at leftover Preds jersey. Your thoughts?

I wouldn't be surprised if we see some Habs memorabilia here. This late in the year, it's quite possible UD could have already obtained one of Weber's many Habs jersey's.

I used to love ice until last year. Bought three master cases and got killed. I don't think I would've had 20% of the value out of the cases that I paid for them. It was a while before I climbed out of that hole.

    Hopefully this year is better.

Sadly, I am pretty sure it won't be. I was thinking the other day and card companies like Upper Deck do their best to release good looking products and they do a really good job at that. SPX released earlier this year looked great, but the problem is the resale value is terrible. So, what I was thinking about whose fault is this? Upper Deck can not control what the value of their cards will be and they can only put out products with a solid checklist and that looks great, which is what they have done so far this year and all of their products have improvied from past releases.

The design with Trilogy, especially the Signature Puck autos was done really well and the ice scripts were easier to hit that in past years as well. Series One and Two continue to be staples and led by the strong group of rookies this year and I am sure SPA will be a hit as well. It is products such as ICE that offer a high risk and low reward that collectors will get killed in and exactly why I will stay away. It is a shame b/c the product does look stunning, but even for someone that does not resell his cards, the kick to the gut is just too strong after breaking a product such as this.

We'll be able to tell right away if there's a weird yellow swatch standing out there. LOL For what it's worth, they've also got Subban memorabilia in the set so I anticipate it will be proper. They haven't done much of the "use up the old stock" thing of late because they know how much it annoys collectors. Fingers are crossed.

I bought about 40 boxes of Ice last year and the lowest print number rookie that I hit was to 499. Used to be an amazing product but not anymore. UD took a money grab on us last year because of McDavid. I am guessing the same on Matthews this year, might try a box or two but I can guaranty I WILL NOT be buying Ice junk this year like last year.

The pictures they posted are amazing but show us the cards we will actually be pulling!
